Magnetic Jig Block
This magnetic jig block can be used around the workshop to temporarily attach jigs, fixtures and measuring instruments to any magnetic surface. Neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet available commercially and they are the most widely used type of rare earth magnet. The strong neodymium magnet can be turned on and off easily using the toggle switch and it produces a magnetic force of 300N which is more than enough for applications in the workshop.
The jig has two magnetic faces, one is flat and the other has a machined groove for magnetic attachment to round or square sections.
There is an M5 threaded hole in the top of the jig to allow you to secure jigs and fixtures to the block. The block measures 30x35x40mm. ©
