Router Table Insert Rings
These essential router insert plate accessories allow you to change the opening diameter on your router table, to adapt to the various sized bits in your arsenal. Use these insert rings to reduce the opening around the bit, ensuring less dust and wood chips fall on to the router below.
A smaller opening around your bit also ensures that you have the maximum support for your workpiece when sliding it across the table. Recommended opening size is 3.18mm to 6.35mm larger than the diameter of the router bit.
This set of 4 premium router table insert rings provides you with the most commonly used diameters of opening for your router table. Included are 6.35mm, 12.7mm, 34.9mm (counter bored to accept standard sized guide bushings) and 63.5mm. With the capability of mounting guide bushings to your table, you can now use the wide variety router table jigs available such as dovetail jigs and template guides. These rings can be used on any insert plate with an opening diameter of 90mm, including the Rutlands® R5131 R5 plunge router lift, R5010 insert plate and the R5063 R20 electronic router lift.
These precision moulded polycarbonate insert rings will not damage your bit should they come in to contact and will not break or dent if dropped on the workshop floor. Each ring features 2 holes designed to fit a two prong insert wrench for quick, easy adjustment and a secure fit. © **Note that these insert rings are NOT compatible with the R15 Router Lift**
