Square – 200mm
A 90° square is perfect for machinery and power tool set up – it can be used when setting up table saws, jointers, or any machine where you are required to make precision cuts. When setting up machinery the large footprint of the tool allows it to stand unaided on the machine bed which leaves both hands free to make adjustments. As well as being a highly accurate 90° square this square can also be used to draw parallel lines at 1mm increments from the edge of your workpiece. There are a series of 5 holes running across the blade every 5mm, with the first hole being the at 0mm on the measuring scale. For example, the first hole is next to the 0mm engraving, the hole next to this is 1mm and the next hole is 2mm and so on. There is a lip on both the front and back of the handle which keeps the square flat against the workpiece edge, meaning the square can also be used to draw perpendicular lines. A small, recessed hole on the inner angle allows marking from the very edge of your workpiece. We would recommend using a 0.5mm fine pencil to achieve the best results when using this rule.
The square has laser engraved metric graduations which are crisp and clear and can be read easily without straining your eyes. The rule has been precision CNC machined from a single piece of aircraft grade aluminium which guarantees its squareness to 0.01mm over the entire length of the blade. The square has been beautifully finished by an electrochemical process called anodisation which increases its resistance to corrosion and wear while also making it very aesthetically pleasing.
The square features a hanging hole for easy storage and measures 200mm long by 110mm wide on the outer edges and 165mm long by 75mm wide on the inner edges. ©
