Angle Marking Rule
This versatile angle marking rule combines the functions of an adjustable T rule, sliding bevel and angle rule, providing precision measuring and marking across a wide range of layout applications.
Providing a full 360 degree range of movement, simply rotate the rule to the desired angle, lock in place using the large locking knob, butt the flat reference face up against the edge of the workpiece and scribe a line. Clear, laser etched graduations are provided for every degree, with larger graduations every 5 degrees and degree numbers provided every 10 degrees, from 0 to 90 degrees. A scale pointer within the centre of the protractor provides quick and easy identification of the required angle. As a sliding bevel gauge, measure and transfer angles or layout lines between workpieces, sliding the rule down the body to the required position, using the angled end of the blade to reach into blind corners.
Two laser etched reference lines below the protractor, perpendicular to the rule, allow you to quickly set the rule at 90 degrees to the reference face. From there the rule can be used as an adjustable T rule, ideal for transferring measurements around the workshop or drawing lines perpendicular to the workpiece edge. At one end of the rule is a marking hole, offset by 5mm, which can be used for drawing straight and parallel lines from the edge of the workpiece. The large reference face measures 115mm wide by 12mm deep, providing excellent registration to sit securely against the workpiece edge.
The rule has graduations from 0mm up to 280mm on one edge and 0 to 10 inches on the other, with an overall length of 297mm. The large locking knob can quickly be removed and the rule then used independently as a standard straight rule. Rule and protractor are precision CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminium with a durable, anodised finish to ensure scratch, wear and corrosion resistance. ©
