Bench Grinder Sharpening Jig
This bench grinder sharpening jig is designed for use with 150mm and 200mm bench grinders. It is primarily an upgrade on the poor tool rests that are supplied with bench grinders and allows greater accuracy in the angles when grinding a tool’s bevel. Tools can be rested on a 100mm wide platform for more freehand sharpening, or a tool clamp is provided that runs in a smooth frictionless t track to ensure grinding is square and even. The platform can be positioned at virtually any point in relation to the grinder due to the two pivoting points, as well as it being able to move back and forth. There are four screw holes in the base of the jig that are used to secure it to your workbench or tabletop.
The jig has been machined from aircraft aluminium and beautifully finished with a black anodisation to make it easy on the eye but also hardwearing and durable. ©
