Dog Fence – 200mm with 20mm and 3/4″ Posts
A dog fence is designed to be used on any workbench or tabletop that has dog holes already drilled. The fence can be positioned where required and can be used to hold workpieces against when routing, sanding or planing. The fence has two sides, one is 15mm for use with thinner workpieces and the other is 32mm for working with thicker workpieces. Both sides are slightly tapered towards the workpiece to prevent any vertical movement of the workpiece while working. Both faces of the fence have several grooves to prevent your workpiece from slipping.
The 200mm dog fence is supplied with four 90mm long steel posts, two are 3/4″ in diameter and the other two are 20mm, meaning they will be compatible with either of the industry standard dog hole diameters. The posts have several back tapered rings along their length which engage with the inner wall of the hole to prevent the post from being pulled upwards during use. Two T bolts screw into the posts and slide inside a T track on the base of the fence meaning the posts can be easily adjusted to suit the distance between dog holes.
The fence is made from extruded aluminium that has been anodised to provide a durable and great looking, non marring finish. The fence is 200mm in length and has a width of 55mm. ©
