Drill Guide Block – 3mm to 9.5mm
This substantial drill guide block provides the stability and guidance required to drill perfectly straight, accurate holes on a wide range of surfaces. Portable and pocket-sized, this guide block will ensure perpendicular drilling alignment, wherever you go.
Its solid, single piece design is constructed through powder metallurgy, heat treated to provide incredible strength and durability. Requiring no separate guide bushes, each drill bit is guided within the hardened drill block, precision machined to the tightest tolerances to ensure 90° alignment to the workpiece. The block features guides for drill bits from 3mm to 9.5mm in diameter, in 0.5mm increments. Further 3.3mm, 4.2mm & 6.8mm guides are provided for thread tapping bits used for M4, M5 & M8 threads.
Centre lines for each bit run the full length of the jig, on all working faces, ensuring accurate placement against layout lines on the workpiece. The V groove on the underside of the guide allows it to align on, and be clamped to, rounded stock and corner edges. All bit sizes and centre lines are deeply recessed within the body of the block to ensure that they will never wear away over time. The guide block is beautifully finished with a black electro-coating, for wear and corrosion resistance. Whether drilling dowel holes or standard fixing holes, using this drill guide will ensure each and every hole is straight. ©
