Dust Hose Silicone Tape – 10m x 38mm
This self-fusing silicone tape creates air-tight and water-tight seals in seconds. It is the perfect tape for the workshop as it can be used for sealing dust extraction hoses and fittings, repairing tears in dust hose, repairing damaged power tool cables, sealing leaking compressor hoses and repairing damaged garden hoses. Initially developed for US Military applications it has been tested and proven in the most extreme conditions and environments. It never gets gooey or sticky like old fashioned electrical or duct tape, eliminating messy clean up and it is extremely versatile as it resists oils, solvents, dust and UV rays.
The 10 metre roll measures 38mm in width and will stretch up to 3 times of its original length during application. Simply cut off a length to be used, begin with one complete overlap of itself and then stretch the tape while continuing to wrap the object with half laps. The tape bond begins immediately upon contact with itself to form a permanent, cohesive bond. In summary it is the most versatile and easy-to-use air tight repair tape available and withstands extremes in temperature, pressure, voltage, moisture, corrosion and contaminant. ©
