Finish Nailer 18 Gauge – 19mm to 50mm
This 18g brad nailer is designed for furniture production and assembly, finish and decorative trim work and fine cabinet making. 18g pins have greater pull-out resistance and overall strength than headless 23g pins so they are excellent for cabinet making where a stronger construction is required to resist loading. The 18g brads measure 1.0mm in diameter and have fine heads that displace minimal material allowing you to drive tight up to an edge without risk of splitting the wood.
Unlike other brad nailers, this nailer features a precision machined cylinder and piston valve, which when you squeeze the trigger results in ultra-smooth and exceptionally powerful firing of the driving pin. There is virtually no kick back in the hand, even when firing into exotic hardwoods with 50mm pins, leaving a fractional hole that can simply be filled.
The side loading magazine is easy to fill and is made from machined aluminium, accepting 18 gauge nails, measuring 19mm, 25mm, 32mm, 38mm and 50mm in length. A swivel coupling prevents the hose from tangling and interfering with the work piece. The brad nailer operates at 5 to 7 bar pressure and can be used up to 8 bar when firing brads into dense hardwoods. The narrow nose design allows for access to tight areas and angles, and the soft polymer tip prevents marring of contoured faces. Precision engineering tolerances on the nose of the brad nailer ensure for a near jam-free operation and tool longevity, and in the event of a jam the front nose has a quick release mechanism to allow for fast access and nail removal. As a safety feature, the firing mechanism will not operate until the nose of the nailer is depressed on the work piece.
When you use this brad nailer for the first time you will truly appreciate its premium quality. Simply squeeze the trigger and with minimal levels of recoil the brad is delivered precisely where you want into the work piece. Supplied with carry case, lubricating oil, safety glasses and hex keys. ©
