Setup Block for R5783 Drawer Lock Bit
These router bit setup blocks ensure you set the router bit to the precise height every time to produce perfect drawer lock joints. All that you need to do is align the block with the cutting edge of the bit by bringing the bit up through the table. Once the bit is aligned vertically, the block is used to set the fence so that the block and cutting edge are aligned horizontally. Once fully aligned the first cut of the side section of the drawer can be made. The opposite side of the set up block is then used to set the router bit height and fence for the front and back sections of the drawer, these sections can then be cut and the drawer put together. The height of the wood needs to be equal to height of the block which is 15mm.
The blocks are made from high density polyethylene which is known for its high strength to density ratio to make the blocks durable and long lasting.
Router bit shown for illustration purposes only and is not included with the setup block. Setup block can also be used for TR430.
